Event Styling & Design

 Hello and welcome my name is Shannon Hough creator/ owner and principal designer ~ SHE ~ Shannon Hough Events.   I would like to start by saying that when I first decided to enter the scene as an event planner I had a different vision in mind. I have always loved designing & creating unique and visulally stunning one of a kind dessert tables. I felt like so many events that I personally attended did not have that WOW factor I knew my tables would provide. So, the story goes....that is when it all began. I decided I was going to be everybody's ultimate sweet stylist. Little did I know my little dessert table business would lead me into new directions and I couldn't be more excited & blessed. Since officially starting my business in 2011 I have had the privilege of working on and creating many elegant weddings, as well as a wide range of social events, coorporate events, birthday parties, anniversary parties, fundraisers etc...  Unofficially for years I have been known to plan and create many events for  family and friends which in turn, turned into friends of friends & so on. Finally after much encouragement from my amazing family and friends  they convinced me that I must take my love of planning the perfect party to the next level. I would like to thank them all right now because I have never felt so gratified & blessed to be doing what I love. I approach every event with my passion for creativity and the goal to make each one a priceless memory.  My ability to create & enhance your vision,  and make it your reality while staying true to my creative eye makes me a great addition to any event – before, during and even after the party is over.

This is the wedding of our daughter Samantha. My lovely daughter decided she was going to give me a whole five weeks to plan her wedding. This wedding inspired me to take my love of planning and creating to new heights. I also learned the importance of all of the other people that are involved in the creative process of executing the most important  day of your daughters life. When my daughter and I began the planning process we had a clear vision of what we wanted, for we did have many years to dream of the perfect wedding. However, with that being said I would like to emphasize the importance of hiring the right vendors, for they can make or break that special day that only happens once in a lifetime. I would like to take this moment to thank all of the very talented and experienced professionals that played a part in making our vision come to life.
